Armella L. Frankowski

Armella L. (Lelko) Frankowski passed away on April 27, 2026. Born in Chicago and a longtime resident of Mokena, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and service to others. 

Armella was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose unwavering love for her family defined her life. She worked tirelessly to provide for those she loved, always putting their needs before her own. 

As a proud nurse, she dedicated her career to caring for others, treating every patient with dignity, compassion, and grace. Armella loved to tell stories of her past experiences and found joy in the simple things. She loved to be among people and touched so many lives within her community. She will be remembered for her "words of wisdom,” as she would always say. 

Armella is survived by her five children, fifteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Her deep faith brings comfort to her family, knowing she is now at peace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved her. 

A private service will be held at the family's request.
