Arlene Kula

Arlene R. Kula, nee Balek, age 85 , beloved wife for 58 years to the late Thomas Kula (2018). Loving mother of Leanne Mieszala and Kimberle Czmiel. Cherished grandmother of Amanda and Christopher (Megan) Mieszala and Nicole and Michael Czmiel. Dearest great-grandmother of Ryleigh. Dear sister of Bill Balek. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

When you met Arlene, you instantly knew you had a friend for life. Her charming personality along with her sweet smile is what made her unique. As a mother, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. During her life, she was a hot dog mom at the school, worked at Lapham Hickey Steel and the Heritage Bank. Arlene loved to cook and bake, eat ice cream, polka dance, take care of her home, and shop at the Dollar Tree but most important was her relationship with God. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation Monday, September 16, 2024 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL, to St. Julie Billiart Church.
