Ann O'Connor

Ann H. O'Connor, nee Carder, age 87, beloved wife of the late Robert O'Connor (2023). Loving mother of Edward (Rose) O'Connor, Jack (Michelle) O'Connor, Kenneth (Shawn) O'Connor, Marcia (John) Schuldt, Mariann (Jon) Dykstra and Joyce Renik. Cherished grandmother of Rebeccah, Kristen, Marilyn, late Elizabeth; Bill, Lindsey; late Marianne, Joshua, Jacob, Hannah; Anna, Samuel, Richard, Nathan, Jeffrey; Olivia, Emily and Joseph. Dearest great-grandmother of 24. Dear sister of Jack Carder and the late twin Lee Carder and the late Robert Carder, Jr.

Ann took life as it came to her and persevered using her strong faith in Christ to raise her children and serve the Lord and her community. She cared for the elderly for many years and enjoyed sharing her faith with her patients. Her greatest joy was in being with her extended family, in particular her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be loved and missed until we meet again in heaven.

Family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Community Christian Reformed Church, 10415 S. Kedvale Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453 on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Interment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
