Anje "Ann" Laninga

Anje “Ann” Laninga, nee DeHaan, age 84, at rest April 26, 2008. With great sadness we say goodbye to our mom, our oma, and our friend. She left her tired little body to go join our father Jakob in heaven, along with her parents and only brother. Our “Moeke” found her greatest joy in life to be always surrounded by her family. She was the glue that kept us together. Her mission in life was to make sure everyone was taken care of. She is survived by her 8 children; Nick (Hilda), Tina (late John) Pit, Henry, Kathleen, Jack, John, Cheryl (John) Hoban, and Randy (Kim); 18 grandchildren, 47great-grandchildren. We pray that in God’s arms she has found the peace and happiness she so deserved. Visitation Tuesday from 3-9PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (Wheeler Dr./155th & Harlem) Orland Park. Lying in State Wednesday at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463 from 9:00AM until time of Funeral Service 10:00AM. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South.
