Alice Slager, nee Fischer, age 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2025. Beloved wife for 65 years to the late William Slager (2015). Loving mother of Diane (Bruce) DeJong, Darlene Boss, William R. (Kristin) Slager, and the late Denise (Dr. Steve) Kraker. Cherished grandmother of Lisa DeJong, Scott DeJong, Lindsey Headley, Seth Kraker, Keith (Erin) Kraker, Ben (Julia) Boss, Brianne (Luke) Barr, Abby (Fiancé Mike) Slager, Jeremy (Sarah) Slager and Rafe Slager. Dearest great grandmother of 7. Alice was the last survivor of her seven siblings- Jacob Fischer, Louis Fischer, Florence Solle, Nina Slagter, Albert Fischer, John Fischer, and Bob Fischer. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
Interment Monday, July 21, 2025 at 12:00 Noon EDT at Pilgrim Home Cemetery 370 W. 16th St., Holland, Michigan.
