Alfred W. Howard

Alfred Wayne Howard went to be with God on Friday February 17th, 2023, surrounded by his devoted family.  He was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Vivian Howard. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years Gwen, their children; Lisa, Alfred (Heather), Abby (Mark), Holly (Michael), Amanda (Jim), Joshua (Jessica), Jerrod (Sarah) and 18 grandchildren; Olivia, Lauren, Lindsay, Noah, Joshua, Gavin, Lily, Zander, Gage, Zia, Jacob, Alida, Anna, Julia, Isla, Andrew, Zealand and Zen. Visitation will be held Friday, February 24th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Maher Funeral Home located at 17101 71st Avenue Tinley Par, IL 60477. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church, 17500 84th Avenue, Tinley Park.
