Alexander Roth

Alexander Dolan Roth, age 30, adored son of Colleen F. Dolan and Arthur K. Roth II. Loving brother of Arthur J. Roth II and Kelly Shannon Roth. Soul brother of Michael Athy. Cherished grandson of Donald G. "Pop" Dolan and the late Margaret Dolan, Arthur J. Roth and Gloria Roth. Treasured Godson of Catherine Dolan-Cook and Michael Roth. Dear nephew and cousin of many. Much loved by many close friends all over the world.

Alex graduated as captain from the 127th Corps of Cadets at St. John's Northwestern Military Academies in Delafield, WI in 2011. He excelled at SJNMA through many academic, athletic and civic achievements. President of the National Honor Society, he was on the Dean's List many times and was Senior Class President. He received the Alexander Roth Excellence in Senior Leadership Award, which was named in his honor. It is presented to the senior cadet who demonstrates excellence in leadership within the senior class and serves as a role model for all cadets. On the athletic field, Alex was a varsity letter winner in football, wrestling and lacrosse. He was a member of the South Side Irish Rugby Football Club, an avid hiker and he loved to cook. Alex had a great sense of humor and kindness that could make anyone smile.

Visitation Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. with a St. John's Northwestern Military Academies Final Salute at 6:00 p.m. and a time for family and friends to share stories and remembrances of Alex from 6-7 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
