Adolph A. “Red” Tietz, age 78, US Army Veteran, beloved husband for 53 years of Caryl, nee Frey. Loving father of James (Kathy), Thomas (Angela), Donald (Pamela) and Susan (Michael) Zoppa. Dear grandfather of Kristin, Cody, Thomas Jr., Karyn, Dayna, Bradley, Ryan, Connor, and Elizabeth. Fond brother of Rose Mary Spurling and Robert Tietz, both of CA, and the late Anna Zolty. Former owner of Red’s Paper Products. 14 years as a Blue Island Little League manager, former president and coach of the Blue Island Untouchables, avid golfer, long-time member of Cog Hill men’s golf club. Visitation Thursday 3-9 PM. Funeral Service Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park. Interment Abraham lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
