Obituary for Thaddeus "Ted" Jakala
Thaddeus "Ted" Jakala, age 58, devoted son of the late Emil and Halina (Zalewski) Jakala. Loving brother of Barbara (William) Batsch and Henry (Patricia) Jakala. Cherished uncle of Renae (Patrick) Batsch-Haaker, Steven Batsch and William Batsch.
Ted graduated from IIT with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). He spent his career as an engineer starting with Motorola and spent the last few years at Amazon. He loved to travel and Motorola was more than happy to accommodate sending him to work across much of the world.
Ted loved his family and his friends whom he found at work and many more outside of work. He enjoyed concerts, dancing, making and eating foodie meals, soaks in a hot tub and better yet Montana's hot springs. He enjoyed sharing stories of yesteryear and posting photos of his good times, conversing with friends and a good glass of wine. He always had a smile, a kind word to say and a big heart. Ted will surely be missed by many as he is missing us all.
