Obituary for Sharon L. Ridderhoff (Zuidema)

Sharon L. Ridderhoff, nee Zuidema, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 17, 2021. Beloved wife for 57 years to David L. Ridderhoff. Loving mother of Dave (Janice) Ridderhoff, Sandy (Larry) Pruim, John (Deborah) Ridderhoff, and Barb (Dave) Waterlander. Cherished grandmother of Brian, Kari, Loran (Sam), Tim; Kelsey (Jake), Michelle (John); Hannah and Kevin; Connor and Brandon. Dearest great-grandmother of Carson, Samuel, Sarah, Gabriel, and Noah. Survived by her brother Charles Zuidema and preceded in death by five siblings. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a resident of Palos Heights for 56 years. She was the secretary for Dr. Joel Mann for 20 years.

Visitation Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a limited amount of visitors are allowed at a time. All guests wanting to attend the visitation at Colonial Chapel must register by clicking on the blue RSVP tab for visitation under Service Details which is located by scrolling down. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a limited amount of people are allowed.
