Salvatore C. "Sal" Fusco, age 88, US Army Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband for 63 years to the late Patricia A. "Pat" Fusco, nee Ashby. Loving father of James Fusco, Daniel (Laura) Fusco, Dianne (Robert) Zidek, and Phillip (Rhonda) Fusco. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Shaun, and Andrew. Dear brother of Pauline (late George) Kucik and Marie Delores (late Leon) Miotke.

Because of Sal's many years at Reliable Fire & Security he built up a vast network of close firefighter friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation Thursday, February 6, 2020 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

The Fowler Family would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Fusco Family. Sal was not only a great human being, but a very talented craftsman. We have a couple of Sal's creations hanging proudly in our house. We were very fortunate to know him.

Sal, we are going to miss you at the golf outing, the Chief’s meetings and mostly your visits to our firehouse. You were always a great man, I hope you now have your wall.
