Ruth E. Zehner, nee Ebersohl, age 88, beloved wife for 66 years to the late Norman J. "Norm" Zehner (2017). Loving mother of Cynthia Yarger. Cherished grandmother of Rachel (Dean) Webb and Sarah Yarger (Ira Bremer). Dearest great-grandmother of Jesse, Maggie and Rebecca. Preceded in death by her sisters Marie, Addie and Elizabeth and her brothers Virgil, Bill, Lloyd, Jacob, Gus and Ralph. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a retired dental assistant and office manager for Dr. David H. Marcus with over 30 years of service. She was a renowned cook and baker. In addition, Ruth was a small animal "whisperer".

Visitation Friday, November 1, 2019 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, November 2, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
