Ronald W. Vasaitis, Sr., age 71, U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Beloved husband for 14 years to Susan, nee Saposnik. Loving father of Ronald Vasaitis, Jr., Scott Vasaitis, Michael (Nora) Vasaitis and Susan Vasaitis. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Abby, Gino and Dominic. Dear brother of Lisa Freer and the late John Vasaitis, Jr. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Retired from Cook County Sheriff's Office.

Visitation Monday, August 24, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. A Private Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.
