Rolaine E. Toppen, nee Borgman, age 95, beloved wife for 71 years to the late Gerald "Uncle Jiggs" Toppen (2015). Loving mother of Ruth Ellyn (Ray) Matkowski, Gerald Henry (Bonnie) Toppen, Renee (Phil) Vitello, Roberta Gustafson, Joy (Joseph) Kelley and Raymond (Kelly) Toppen. Cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 23. Dear sister of the late Alice Noordhof, Raymond Borgman, Evelyn Walker, and Henry Borgman.
Rolaine loved her family and her heavenly Father. She lived her life centered on caring for and being hospitable and generous to others. She always had an extra seat at the table. She enjoyed traveling to different places and gaining new experiences.
Visitation Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. Burial private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
