Robert K. "Bob" Sweeney, age 88, US Army Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband for 55 years to Bonnie, nee Gillen. Loving father of John "Jack" (Diane) Sweeney and Mark (Diane) Sweeney. Cherished grandfather of Hunter, Rebecca, Zachary, Brian, and Daniel "Danny". Bob is preceded in death by his siblings; John, Daniel (late Hazel), Audrey (late Ray) Lagermann, Margaret (late Scottie) McGravie, and William. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Retired senior project engineer at Henkel Chemical Corporation. Cub Scout Leader, Pack #3456, and Off Club Treasurer.

Visitation Monday, August 3, 2020, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.

A private Funeral Service for the family will be held at 12:30 p.m.
