Goodbye my friend. Too short, too soon, life has pulled us apart. Far greater were the good times than the bad, but our memories will last forever. Our paths crossed through marriage and have lasted through friendship and brotherhood. The bike trips we took, the mechanics you loved—and were so skilled at, the family gatherings and the grammar and high school events were many of the things we did together. We shared those times together with all the laughter, joy, kindness and togetherness, life had to offer, and we are grateful for the time we had. I will never forget our shootout on the paintball field…Ever!!
Please know you were loved, and that you will be greatly missed. We will cry and we will mourn your death, but I know we too will celebrate your life and our time together. Until we meet again my friend, goodbye.
Heather, Bobby, Amanda and Brian, your dad was a special man who was loved by many. Not unlike others, our families had rough roads, but we usually got through them knowing we were always here for each other. We were, we are and we always will be. It's ok to be sad, it's ok to cry a little too, but forget the bad times, remember the good and cherish the many special times you shared with your dad. We will all miss him; we will all celebrate his life and his special place in ours. Keep you dad in your memories, and he will live on forever in your heart. We love you guys!
