Richard P. Garzotto, age 70, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2019 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Betty Arcos. Loving father of Christy Garzotto, Laura (Charles) Doty, Richard (Stephanie) Garzotto and Jeffrey (Susie) Garzotto. Cherished grandfather of LeeAnna Meeker, Kylie (Michael) Cotto, Regina Meeker, and Emmalee Pavleski; Cody Garzotto, Brandon, Nichole, and Cristina Doty; Anthony, Giovanni Garzotto; Jayden Herrod and Shane Garzotto. Dearest great-grandfather of Odin Cotto. Dear brother of Vasco Garzotto, Anita Perruso, and Grace Martini.

Richard was born on April 8, 1948 in Italy. He is a US Army Vietnam War Veteran. Retired machinist with many years of service. Richard loved all Chicago sports and was especially passionate about the White Sox. He was also an avid fisherman, bowler, long-time softball player, and he loved to travel.

Visitation Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
