Obituary for Norbert E. "Norb" Ciesla

Norbert E. "Norb" Ciesla, age 84, US Army Veteran, beloved husband for 60 years to Lorraine, nee Marcinek. Loving father of Janet (Dan) Johnson and Robert (Tammy) Ciesla. Cherished grandfather of Michael Johnson, David Johnson, Joe Ciesla, Nick Ciesla, Lauren (Ryan) Neiswender and Tommy Ciesla. Dear brother of Lottie (late Tony) Strzalka, Virginia (Jack) Kane and the late Edward (late Laura) Ciesla, Chester (Patricia) Ciesla, Ernest Ciesla, and Leonard Ciesla. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Past President of Let's Polka USA Club. Longtime member of American Legion post 1028. Graduated from St. Rita High School in 1954.

Visitation Thursday, January 7, 2021, 3 - 8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a limited amount of visitors are allowed at a time. All guests wanting to attend the visitation at Colonial Chapel must visit Norb's obituary at colonialchapel.com and click on the blue RSVP tab for visitation under Service Details which is located by scrolling down.

To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.
