Thank You for those wonderful words, photos and song. You captured my Aunt Lois and filled me with meaningful memories. It seemed growing up, almost any time I turned around at family functions, sporting events, birthday parties or going out to eat, there was my Aunt Lois with her cute smile and my Uncle Bob to share in our festivities. She had no children, but oh, how she loved us kids; you could see it in her warm eyes as she smiled at us. Aunt Lois would cheer me up after some adult would verbally shoot me down. I was so proud when Aunt Lois told me, "Ralphie, I don't let just anyone walk Fritzy; I know you'll take good care of him." That big black lab pulled me all over Olympia Fields while I laughed and felt special and responsible. Honest, loving, interesting and hardworking. Aunt Lois was the quintessential working women of her day. She would proudly tell me of her responsibilities and retirement plan at Sweetheart Cup Company. Aunt Lois and Uncle Bob were inseparable and that comforted me; I enjoyed watching them care for each other, tenderly with love. I can still see Aunt Lois warmly laughing in her sweat shirt and rolled up peddle pushers with her arms around Uncle Bob and his sardonic smile. I've always been proud to be their nephew.
