My name is Pam and Lila was my mom's hospice nurse a little over 10 years ago. Our family looked forward to her visits because she was a tremendous help during a most difficult time. She was a lovely lady who was very kind and caring. We are so sorry for your loss and want to express our deepest sympathy to you. We know how much you will miss your mom, grandmother, sister and friend. We are praying for each one of you. God is the only One who can truly comfort us. Please put your faith in Him. The Bible says that His love for each one of us is everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3). That is why He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross to save each one of us and give us eternal life in Heaven. All we need to do is receive His amazing gift of love. Acts 16:31 says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved."

Hello my name is Donna and I was Lila's over night CNA at Morraine. I am soo sorry for your loss. I saw her on Friday and told her have a good weekend that I would see her on Monday :(. When I would make my rounds we would talk for quite a bit and we found out that she knows a family that I know. My daughter plays wheelchair basketball with the child of the family she knew. Lila and I would talk about different tv shows we liked and she asked me on Friday if I knew a certain actors name on a show and I was ready to go in there on Monday and tell her ( i told her i would try to find out as soon as i could and i would let her know). Lila was such a amazing, sweet, kind person who will truely be missed. I am sorry I will not be able to make it tonight because I have to work and I have school tomorrow but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this difficult time

The two months we gave her at Moraine were the best thing we did for her. She really liked it there. Thank you for the kind words and doing what you did. You and the rest of the staff over there are pretty amazing.

My favorite memory with my grandma was when we used to just sit and relax and watch movies, like My Girl or Look Who's Talking. I miss her so much!

There are too many memories for me to share on here. My most recent favorite one is going on vacation to Las Vegas with my mom (Lila) so she could see me marry my best friend Katie. She had so much fun on that trip. So did we. She made the trip special. We miss her.
