Obituary for Lambert "Butch" Greendyke

Lambert "Butch" Greendyke, age 79, went to be at home with his Lord and Savior on December 31, 2021 following a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Beloved husband for 57 years to Janet, nee Vander Wagen. Loving father of Donna (Steven) Workman and Ronald (Krista) Greendyke. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Chase) Deaton, Jaclyn (Chaz) Schutt, Jonathan Workman and Jessica (Peter) Vos; Mackenzie (Christian) Rodino and Nicolas Greendyke. Dearest great-grandfather of Levi, Josiah, Hope and Ellie. Dear brother of Peter (Dorothy) Greendyke, Henrietta (late John) Veldman, Betty (Michael) O'Keefe and the late William (Linda) Greendyke. Fond brother-in-law of Linda (late Russell) Bonnema and the late Corinne (Raymond) Iwema and the late Robert (Marjorie) Vander Wagen. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Former owner of NuWay Disposal for many years. Longtime active member of Calvary Church of Orland Park serving as a Deacon and an Elder.

Visitation Friday, January 14, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
