Obituary for Kevin F. Motz

Kevin Francis Motz, born March 8, 1952. Died September 29, 2022. Married to Meryle (Miller) Motz October 18, 1992. Father of Timothy Motz, Jason Freeman, Brett (Fawn) Robinson and Norman (Lynne) Robinson. Grandfather of Xylie Nixon, Megan, Grace and James Robinson. Son of Harold and Emma (Bennett) Motz, and brother of Timothy J. Motz, all whom have preceded him in death.

Graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School and Southern Illinois University (degree in Political Science). Worked at Whitey's in Tinley Park for many years before moving to Sportstation in Tinley Park for over 20 years before going into business with Charlie Johnson as co-owner and operator of The Hotcorner Uniforms and Screenprinting. A football player, he loved sports and was very active during his high school and college years. A Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame fan. He ran nine Chicago Marathons after turning 59. Kevin was a strong believer in the Constitution of the United States. He loved listening to talk radio and was well informed in all aspects of life.

Visitation Thursday, October 6, 2022, 3-8 p.m. with a Service at 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private.
