June C. Meter, nee Schultz, age 81, beloved wife of the late Harold J. Meter, Sr. (2007). Loving mother of Harold J. Jr. (Dina), Pamela (Frank) Crowley, Howard J. (Jennifer) and the late Patricia Deckinga. Cherished grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of eight. Fond sister of the late Narcissa Van Kley and the late Bill Schultz. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

June's career spanned over 30 years working as a banker and as an employee for the Village of Orland Park. June was very active in her community volunteering at United Way, Crisis Center for Battered Women & Children, Sertoma Speech & Hearing Center, Palos Community Hospital, Together We Cope and was twice President of Financial Women International.

Visitation Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.

Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
