Joseph F. "Joe" Wydra, Jr., went home to the Lord on September 29, 2022, at the age of 62. Joe was a loving husband to Kimberly (Reis) for 38 years. He was a beloved father to J.R. and Lindsay (Koedyker) and Matt and Andy (Escallier). He was a proud DziaDzia to Eva, Lincoln, and Mila. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Palmer, and brothers Rich and Steve. He was a fond son-in-law of Robert and Anita Reis and brother-in-law of Phil Wentland, Alicia Wydra, Bob and Michelle Reis, and Stacey and Carl Palleson. Joe was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wydra, Sr.; his sister, Elizabeth Wentland; his brother Mark; his sister-in-law Margaret Wydra; his mother-in-law, Charlene Reis and his nephew, Robert (Bobby) Reis.
Joe's greatest loves were his Savior Jesus Christ and his family. He was an active member of his church, serving as both an elder and deacon over the years. He was a self-taught craftsman and loved to do projects around his home, and he frequently helped others with their home improvement projects. He was meticulous about the maintenance of his lawn and cars, which were always immaculate. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a huge fan of golfing, the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears and Seinfeld.
