James B. "Jim" Fikar, age 82, beloved husband of Sharon R. Fikar (nee Baker) and the late Constance "Connie" Fikar (nee Teune). Loving father of Debbie (Bob) Sworsky, Cheryl Fikar-O'Donnell, Becky Fikar, and the late Jimmy Fikar. Dearest stepfather of Katy (Dave) Hurst, Brian Thomas and Kyle (Brittany) Thomas. Cherished grandfather of Bobby Sworsky, Brian Sworsky, Tommy (Haley) Sworsky, Andrea (Colin) Hale, Ivan, Naomi, Sylvi, and the late Evey Thomas. Dear brother of Victoria (Robert) Pacholski. Fond Uncle and friend of many.

Jim was a member and Deacon at Hope Reformed Baptist Church in New Lenox, IL. He enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking at Starved Rock State Park and also enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii.

Visitation Monday, November 28, 2022 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00AM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Orland Memorial Park Cemetery.
