Halina was a lovely lady whom I had the honor of meeting and getting to know at Holy Family Chapel where I would sit in front of her favorite back pew 😊. Her devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and her love of the holy Rosary were inspirational. She also liked me to sit with her in the back of the church for 4:00 pm Saturday Mass each week..which was very special to me. I had a special fondness for her and at her request, came to her house to see her plants and flowers a few times. We would speak by phone fairly often until after her surgery a few years ago, at which point my mother started to decline and required my full time care. I saw Halina one last time in the chapel last summer in a wheelchair and almost didn't recognize her as I was used to her lovely white hair. I thank God I got to see her as it had been a long time as I had missed her very much. I am deeply grateful for the Lord having blessed me with her presence in my life. Such a sweet, special soul. Rest in peace Halina with Jesus and Mary. My sincerest condolences to her children and family. Your mom and you all have been, and will continue to be in my prayers. God bless you. Denise Gonzalez 💐
