Galileo Diola "Gal" Casquejo, age 77, beloved husband for 47 years to Ma Elena "Merril" Casquejo, nee Lazo. Loving father of Melissa (Joe) La Margo. Cherished grandfather of Christian, Jonah, Calvin and Honor. Dear brother of Ron (Emma), Dan (Linda), Arl (Judith) and the late Billy (late Elena), Fred (Violeta) and Ernie (Lita). Dear uncle and godfather of many.

Gal was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a well-respected and well-loved leader in the Filipino-American community in Chicago. He was a past President of the Philippine Engineers and Scientists Organization (PESO). Gal was also past President of the Club Pilipino in the Southwest side of Chicago. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, an engineer's engineer and a friend to many.

Visitation Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to Our Lady of the Woods Church, 10731 W. 131st St., Orland Park, IL. Mass 12:00 Noon. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements at both the Visitation and Funeral. All guests planning on attending the Funeral Mass must register at ourladyofthewoods.org
