Evelyn K. Huiner, nee VanderVeen, age 71, loving mother of Jennifer Huiner and Carrie Huiner. Former wife of the late Martin Huiner, Jr. Devoted daughter of the late Edward and Rose VanderVeen. Dear sister of Sharon (late Robert) Zwart and the late Roberta (late Al) Sennese. Fond aunt of six nephews, one niece, six great-nephews and three great-nieces.
Evelyn enjoyed traveling with her extended family but her greatest joy was taking care of her four great-nephews and great-niece and watching her world champion Chicago Cubs.
Visitation Friday, October 11, 2019 at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment private at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing, IL.
