Edward J. "Major" Wagner, Jr., age 86, beloved husband for 67 years to the late Mildred "Millie" Wagner, nee Dorris. Loving father of Edward III (Carol) and Susan (James) Sweet. Cherished grandfather of Rachel and Randel. Dear brother of Cynthia Umbach and the late Gloria Hisel.
Ed was a sports photographer with 44 years of service who worked at the Chicago American, the Chicago Today, and retired from the Chicago Tribune.
Visitation Friday, June 10, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
