Obituary

David Post, 73, originally from Chicago and recently Show Low, Arizona. Lost a short battle with cancer on February 3, 2019. He is survived by his wife Angela (nee Marasso) who he was lovingly dedicated to for 53 years of marriage. Loving father to son Jeffrey (Wendy) and granddaughters Jessica and Nicole. Dear brother of the late Harold Post. Dearest brother in law to Frank and Cindy Marasso and Uncle to Kristin (Jason), Joe (Andrea), Lauren and Sarah and Anne Vaughn.

Dave loved dogs, particularly his 2 Scotties, Scotch and Bourbon. He enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society of the White Mountains walking dogs. Dave was an avid quilter, sewing many quilts tops for AZ Blankets for Kids, donating many quilts to women’s crisis centers, and quilted placemats to Meals On Wheels.

To my always energetic cousin Dave. Rest in peace. I will forever remember times we spent camping in the summer and Christmas’ spent together on 82nd at ” Uncle Rays and Auntie Grace.”
Your sense of humor was a gift that I always appreciated. You even introduced me to a mutual favorite radio host Kevin Matthews in the morning!
To Angela., Jeff, Frank, and Cindy, I am sorry to have to miss Dave‘s memorial.
I truly hope that you find the peace that transcends all understanding - and a beer ASAP!
-Michael David.
