David Eric Alderson, age 46, passed away peacefully at Indiana University Comfort Care Unit with his mom and daughter at his side on March 10, 2021.
David was born in Oak Lawn, Illinois on September 27, 1974. He was the beloved first born son of Joy Alderson. Loving dad to Sarah Josephine Alderson (fiancé Zach Keyl). Cherished "Poppa" to Violet Keyl whom he loved deeply and whom he lived for. Violet loved to have Poppa read to her and had many sleepovers with him. Dear brother of Rachel (John) Bremseth and Kevin (Lisa) Alderson and uncle of Jared and Wyatt. Much loved “Uncle David” to Andrew and Nathan Bremseth.
David was spontaneous, very intelligent, loved to read and was an avid learner. He could cook but did not like to cook only for himself. He taught himself how to smoke bacon using a cardboard box as a smoker. He especially liked to go on food outings with his daughter and his mom.
