Obituary for Constance Mae "Connie" Ring (Olson)
Constance Mae "Connie" Ring, nee Olson, age 88, late of Pingree Grove, IL, formerly of Orland Park, IL. Beloved wife of the late Terrence Ring (1991). Loving mother of Victoria (Robert) Beard. Cherished grandmother of Brian (Diane) Pummell and Curtis (Laura) Beard. Dearest great-grandmother of Gabrielle, Finn and Amelia. Devoted daughter of the late Harry and the late Marie (nee Sefick) Olson. Dear sister of the late Harry (Mary) Olson, Jr. Fond aunt of seven and great-aunt of 36.
Connie was self-employed as an interior decorator, specializing in window treatments. The name of her company was TeCo Interiors. Connie was a member of Calvary Church of Orland Park. She volunteered in many aspects of the church. She also volunteered at Oak Park Hospital for many years. She held a prayer group in her home for 25 years. Connie was a woman who truly lived a spiritual life. You didn’t have to be in her presence very long before you knew you were with someone who loved Jesus, lived for Jesus, and wanted to share the good news of Jesus. Her Bible was always at the ready to seek truth and then live it out. Prayer was as natural to her as breathing. She often went right into prayer as she was speaking. She loved with all her heart and her arms were always open to any and all who came to her with a need. Jesus was her life and now her life is complete, as she sees her Lord face to face in the beauty and majesty of His glory.
A Memorial Visitation and Service to celebrate Connie's life will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
