Charles G. "Chuck" Krout, age 88, US Army Korean War Veteran, beloved husband for 63 years to Joyce, nee Swanson. Loving father of Karl Krout, Keith (Jane) Krout and Karen Krout. Cherished grandfather of Kevin and Dan. Dear brother of Doris McKinzie, Lloyd Krout, Ken Krout, Carol McCrory, and the late Claude Krout and Judith Ann Krout. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Chuck was a retired truck driver for Certified Grocers Midwest with 37 years of service. During his career, he had an outstanding driving record and was inducted into the National Safety Council’s ‘Three Million Mile Club’ in recognition of attaining 3 million miles of safe driving without an incident. He loved to spend time with family and friends at his Red Pine Farm in Cadillac, Michigan.

Visitation Friday, June 11, 2021 from 3-8PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in state Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 7800 W. McCarthy Rd., Palos Heights, IL 60463 from 10:30AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00AM.

Interment Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
