Bruce A. Bovenkerk, age 58, U.S. Sgt. 1st Class U.S. Army, retired with 26 years of service. Beloved husband for 28 years to Kathleen, nee Grosse. Loving father of Tanya (Tom) Disselkoen and Bradley (Katie) Bovenkerk. Cherished grandfather of Holden, Wylder and Colbie. Dear brother of Scott (Judy) Bovenkerk and Dawn (Michael) Cizmar. Dearest uncle of several nieces and nephews. Fond son-in-law of Helen Grosse. Much loved brother-in-law and uncle to Kathy's five siblings and their families.

Visitation Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a limited amount of visitors are allowed at a time. All guests wanting to attend the visitation at Colonial Chapel must register by clicking on the blue RSVP tab for visitation under Service Details which is located by scrolling down. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. Funeral Service private.
