Blanche M. Staal, nee Ogren, age 85, beloved wife for 62 years to the late Robert "Bob" Staal (2019). Loving mother of Laura (Tim) Hoekstra, Larry (Ruth) Staal, and Lonny (Jane) Staal. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Jori) Staal, Leah (John) Baldauff, Jessica Hoekstra, Amy (Derek) Groot, Aaron (Jody) Hoekstra, Sam (Karley) Staal, Andrew Staal, Scott (Julie) Staal, and Abbey (Justin) Deckinga. Dearest great-grandmother of 21. Dear sister of the late Marilyn Johanson and the late Glenn Ogren. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Blanche was a long-time, active member of Orland Park Christian Reformed Church--participating in choir, Bible Study and a true prayer warrior.

Due to limited space, a private family service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. While this service is limited to Blanche's immediate family, a live-stream will be available.
