Betty B. Doherty, nee Abbott, age 90, late of Tinley Park, IL, formerly of Richland Center, WI for 24 years and Oak Forest, IL for 25 years. Beloved wife for 67 years to the late Charles J. "Chuck" Doherty (2018). Loving mother of Chuck (Debi) Doherty, Lynn Stewart, Nancy (James Sprutta) Doherty, Diane (Bob Hendricks) Doherty and Robert (Lisa) Doherty. Cherished grandmother of 12. Dear great-grandmother of eight. Dear sister of Nancy (Richard) Guerin and the late Richard Abbott. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Betty was active in Girl Scouts of America for many years and also a member of United Methodist Women.

Services Private. She will be placed next to her husband at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL
