I never saw such a woman with a positive light towards the worst moments a person could have. She took care of her family with utmost care while still letting them find their own path. I used to be there with Sandy almost every day and she took me in as one of her own. Her food was always some of the best and she wouldn't let you leave the table without a "full" stomach. When you would get her on the phone, you had better set some time aside. She always willing to listen and talk for hours if you had the time no matter if the subject was light or heavy. I will look over her family as much as she looked over me throughout my life. She was like a mother to me and will be truly missed. I hope to pass her great spirit and philosophies that we discussed in the many conversations we have had to my own. Thank You for everything you have given to everybody. Love, Derek
