Marilyn Louise Nehring (Bethig), age 81, of Pentwater, Michigan formerly of Grand Haven, passed away on June 26, 2010. Marilyn was born in the Roseland community in Chicago, Illinois to the late Louis and Mable Bethig on May 14, 1929. She graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1951 and was a Registered Nurse at Muskegon General Hospital in Pediatrics for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Marilyn married Richard A Nehring on November 27, 1954. Richard preceded her in death on April 11, 2006. She is also preceded in death by her sister Virginia (Ginny) Bova. She is survived by her twin daughters, Paula (Glen) Fekken of Traverse City, Michigan and Peggy (Guy) Qualls of Oswego, Illinois and five grandsons: Sebastian Qualls, Sawyer Fekken, Kelton Fekken, Brewer Fekken and Wally Fekken, sister Jean (Bill) Bristow and brother Merritt Bethig as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service is planned in Pentwater Michigan at the First Baptist Church of Pentwater on July 31, 2010 at 11am EST.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of Pentwater, Michigan in Marilyn's name - 85 South Rutledge Street, Pentwater, MI 49449.
