Kurt Andrew Mahlfeldt, age 67, beloved husband of Sharon, nee Visser. Loving father of Aaron (fiancée Cheryl Rego) Mahlfeldt, Maegan (Corey) Fookes, Amanda Boerema, Nick (KT) Boerema, Chris (Adriana) Boerema and the late Nathan and Andrew Mahlfeldt. He was known affectionately as Grampa, Fuzzy, Trumpa, or Baba to his 8 grandchildren Justin, Malena, Henry, Will, Ethan, Lucas, Domenik and Isabella. Devoted son of Theresa and the late Ernest Mahlfeldt. Dearest brother of Craig (Cindy) Mahlfeldt, Pamela (Bob) Peele, and Keith (Janet) Mahlfeldt. Dear son-in-law of Eli and Jeanette Visser.
Fond brother-in-law and uncle of many.

Kurt was employed by USPS for 35 years. He was an amazing photographer. His beautiful voice was a gift from God and he used it for the glory of God.

A Memorial Visitation will take place at Calvary Church of Oak Lawn (formerly Calvin CRC) 10056 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2:30p.m. - 3:30p.m., with a Service to celebrate Kurt's life and faith to immediately follow at 3:30p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials to International Gospel Mission in Abaco, Bahamas are appreciated.
