Obituary for Jackson William Colwell

Jackson William Colwell, 17 months, passed away November 7, 2018 peacefully at night at home with his family. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Deeply loved and cherished son of Jennifer Colwell (Chen) and Joel Colwell. Beloved grandson of Steven and Agnes Chen and John and Phyllis Colwell. Precious great-grandson of Lu Ching (Nai Nai) and Ellen Sickler and the late Jerry Sickler. Dearly loved nephew and godson of Debbie Chen, Jason Colwell and Julie Martensen. Adored cousin of Lennox and Elliott Colwell. Jackson had a beautiful smile that lit up the room and brightened everyone's day.

Visitation Monday, November 12, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon with a Service to Celebrate Jackson's life immediately following at 12:00 Noon at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park, IL.

Interment private Eden Park Cemetery, Rantoul, IL.

My heart was sadden when I read of the loss of your beautiful little son, Jackson and I wanted to send my warmest condolences to the family. To lose a precious child, a part of you, can bring such overwhelming grief but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He hears your prayers, sees your tears and feels your pain. Please go to jw.org to read in the Bible at John 5:28,29 that not only does God care but lovingly gives assurance that you will hold your sweet little one in your arms once again. Until God’s promises come true may every detail of Jackson’s time with you, his big personality, his smile that filled the room, every memory you have, flood and overtake you with calm and peace to help you through the dark moments.
