I was both shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Fred’s passing. He had been a very close friend and co-worker since the Maplebrook golf league began playing at Deer Creek Golf Course. I will miss his friendly smile and jovial conversation. I always enjoyed teasing him about littering the golf greens with his empty sunflower shells. Fred will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him at Deer Creek. My condolences to Fred’s entire family. Your family was blessed with a true treasure in Fred. May he Rest In Peace.
