Condolence From: Deb and Barry Bandstra
Condolence: So sorry to hear about Aunt Dorothy’s passing. She showed her love in concrete ways. In the Evergreen house, I remember her making huge pans of lasagna (considered exotic in those days) for all the Loonies. When I stayed overnight, she drove us to the bus stop (approximately 2 blocks away) and waited for it to arrive. Barry remembers coming to a Christmas in the Palos house basement (before we were married), and Aunt Dorth wrapping some new hankies out of Uncle Wendy’s drawer so that Bar would be included with a gift. As newlyweds, we gratefully took furniture she offered whenever she redecorated her own house. Love and prayers for all!
