Rich was always a very friendly person. He would always come in to the church office to bend my ear whenever he came to tend the flowers. He loved being outdoors and working with his hands. He was also good at general handyman-type work. He and Russ Wirkus remodeled a bathroom for my husband and me while we were on vacation, which also speaks to the integrity of both men, that I could trust them alone in our house while we were away. My husband and I moved to the northern suburbs of Chicago in 2005, and there have been many times when I needed a handyman and wished I could have Rich around. He will be missed. My thoughts & prayers are with Shirley & the family at this time. Rich is with the Lord he loved and served, free from pain and suffering.
