Dorothy M. "Dottie"  Miller (Wilkerson)
Dorothy M. “Dottie” Miller, nee Wilkerson, age 83 went to be with her Lord on April 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 ½ years, Donald E. Miller. Loving mother of daughters Kathrine (John) Hughes, Meryle (Kevin) Motz, Mary (late Tom) Wiencek, Doni (Alex) Miller and son Donald (Lisa) Miller Jr. Cherished grandmother of JoAnne Jankowski, Wendy Murray, Amanda Benson, the late Michelle Hughes, Norman Robinson, Brett Robinson, Jason Freeman, Tim Motz, Amy Pehlke, Kristen Schutz, Tom Wiencek, Tim Wiencek, Jennifer Spinabella, Brandi Harris, Dave Dakuras and Elizabeth Miller. Proud Great Grandmother of thirty-one great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. Dear sister of Barbara Kelderhouse and the late Fred Wilkerson, Ron Wilkerson and Toni Horner. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy and her beloved husband Don resided in Tinley Park for over 50 years. Dorothy was very active for many years as a member of the Tinley Park United Methodist Church, was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Boy Scout Den Leader. She also successfully spearheaded numerous charitable events.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Tinley Park United Methodist Church, 6875 W 173rd Place, Tinley Park, IL 60477.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Dorothy to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
