Great classmate and friend!

I first met Austin in Simmons Grade School, but also got to know him better in Sunday School class at Oak Lawn Presbyterian Church. He was a wonderful friend and had a great sense of humor. We continued our friendship through high school. I moved out west after college and although I did not see him again until our 50th high scholl reunion, it was as though no time had passed. He was the same wonderful person, with lots of stories and laughs. Austin will be missed. It was a pleasure meeting Bernie, his wife.
