Condolences

Condolence From: Phyllis Wiersma
Condolence: You have my sympathy on the death of your mother. I remember after my dad died ma wanted to visit Stella, I had time off so ma told me I could take her. We had a wonderful time went for walks and your mother could walk faster than my mother and my mother was in good shape. To tell the truth Stella could walk faster than I could. Your mother was a wonderful, fun lady. Phyllis Douma Wiersma

Condolence From: Evellyn and Stan :Hoekstra
Condolence: Over the years, Stella was a “Mom” to a lot of people. Such as; Calvin students passing through Chicago on the way home to the Midwest with a stop over at the Kostelyk home. She and Jerry never met a stranger. Later when we were working and going to school in Chicago, Saturday mornings were when friends congregated in Stella’s kitchen for her homemade bread and other goodies coming out the oven. Our visits with Stella continued after we moved to Texas via frequent phone calls. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
