Condolence: My grandparents lived next door to Dorothy and we would always go over and visit. My fondest memory of her is when we were young and my sister and cousin and I made a 'radio station' using a cassette recorder and we 'interviewed' her 'live on the radio' when she was over one afternoon for coffee. Her kindness and loving nature will always be remembered and cherished ❤️

Condolence: Dorothy was our next door neighbor from 1971 until we moved in 2002. We kept in touch through the following years.

We have many fond memories of her love of birds (we had two cats!); our Neighborhood Bunco Club; Block Parties; numerous garage sales; and her unique laugh. She always had a solution or suggestion for any problem that came up.

She was a gracious hostess and loved to have "tea" in the afternoon. You were always welcomed, any time you rang her doorbell. She loved children and you could always get a cookie if you knocked on her door. She also made the best apple and peach pies and shared her recipes.

Everyone on the block knew and loved Mrs. King.
