Obituary for Lucille J. Veldhuis (Vander Ploeg)

Lucille J. Veldhuis, nee Vander Ploeg, age 87, beloved wife of the late Wilfred "Bill" "Whitey" (1996). Loving mother of Lin (Paul) Beugel and Bob (Julie) Veldhuis. Cherished grandmother of Shelly (Mike) Ruffalo, Tim (Tara) Beugel, Melissa (Brian) Trotter and Heather (Jason) Dreher. Dearest great-grandmother of Stone Ruffalo; Ella Beugel; Nathan, Cate, Sam, Claire, Lily, Calvin, Jack, Caedmon and Olivia Trotter; Brooklyn and Evan Dreher. Preceded in death by her baby brother Frank. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, May 22, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.

Interment Fairmount-Willow Hills Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL.

I will always be grateful for having known Lucille. For many years, she has blessed my life with her love, encouragement and prayers.
