Ruth Waterlander, nee Ebbens, age 86, beloved wife for 59 years to the late Jacob (2012). Loving mother of Donald (Sandra), Janice (James) Boersma, Randall (Mary McIntyre), Michael (Sharon), Gerald (Karen), David (Barbara) and the late Edward and John. Cherished grandmother of Jon (Emily), Marc Waterlander; Jason (Dana) Boersma; Tara, James Waterlander and Tracy (Andrew) Guevarez; Allie and Noah Waterlander; Hannah and Kevin Waterlander. Dearest great-grandmother of James and Sophia Boersma. Fond sister of Leona "Dolly" DeVries, Clara DeVries, and the late Ann Bakker, Elizabeth Piersma, Christine Piersma, Jessie Buikema, Andrew Ebbens, Lambert Ebbens, Margaret Pruim, George Ebbens, John Ebbens, and Joan Van Laten. Dear Family and Friends, I was so blessed to take care of Ruth while she was living at Victorian Village. What a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was a mentor, encourager, and good friend to me.
I miss our conversations, our 'fooling around', I miss her advice and her busyness. I enjoyed her music when she played, I enjoyed every conversation that we had. SHE WAS SO SPECIAL!! She will be forever in my heart. God Bless You All.
