Margaret Brent-Semlow, nee Larson, age 81, went home into the arms of Jesus on April 4, 2017. Wife of the late Raymond Semlow; beloved mother of Debi Foster, Tina (Craig) Schmoller, Charles Brent, Rebecca (Michael) McMaster, Richard Brent Jr. and Christopher (Samantha) Brent; Cherished Grandmother of 18; Great-Grandmother of 14; Great-Great-Grandmother of 1. Devoted daughter of the late Louise, nee Gorenz, Larson; Preceded in death by former spouse and father of her six children, Richard Brent Sr.

Marge loved life and lived it to the fullest no matter where her circumstances took her. She loved to socialize with the other residents and staff at Providence Nursing Home in Palos Heights, Illinois. Playing bingo, going to mass and watching TV were some of her favorite pastimes. Above all she loved spending time with her family and often said the greatest times of her life were the years she spent raising her children. Her giving nature and compassion for others caused her to seek out volunteer work as a Hospice caregiver which she did for many years. She also served as a Communion Minister at St. Michael Church in Orland Park, IL for 15 years. We will miss her laughter, her smile and her crazy sense of humor.
